NEJAF MUHARRAM ANNOUNCEMENT 1448/2026
Assallamo Alaikum Azadar ul Hussain (ع),
AL QURAN
إِن يَنصُرْكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَنصُرُكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ ۗ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
“If Allah helps you, no one can overcome you; but if He forsakes you, who can help you after Him? So in Allah let the believers put their trust.”
Surah Al‑Imran (3:160)

On 4th Muharram, the oppression intensified as ‘Umar ibn Sa‘d delivered a stern sermon in Karbala, rallying his troops against Imam Husayn (a.s.) and enforcing strict surveillance over the caravan.
Back in Kufa, Ibn Ziyad delivered a fierce address at the grand mosque, publicly threatening anyone who aided the Imam, ordering a complete lockdown of the city’s exits, and actively blocking any remaining devotees from joining Imam Husayn’s (a.s.) noble cause.
